Backend + Cloud Software Engineer

We are looking for a strong Backend + Cloud Software Engineer who can build reliable systems from development to production.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems, debugging deeply, taking ownership, and shipping production software.

What You Will Work On

• Build backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Design scalable application architecture and database models
• Work with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic
• Build invoice, PDF, document, and structured-data processing pipelines
• Develop background jobs, queues, workers, webhooks, and async workflows
• Integrate with platforms such as Tally, Zoho, accounting systems, and third-party APIs
• Deploy and operate services using Docker and Google Cloud Platform
• Work with Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM, and Secret Manager
• Implement authentication, authorization, multi-tenant systems, retries, and idempotency
• Improve performance, security, reliability, logging, monitoring, and error handling
• Debug production issues across application, database, container, and cloud layers
• Own features from technical design through deployment and production support

What We Are Looking For

• Strong Python fundamentals
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar backend frameworks
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and client-server architecture
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational database design
• Experience with PostgreSQL preferred
• Experience deploying applications using Docker
• Working knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Understanding of Git, Linux, CI/CD, environment configuration, and production deployments
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and software engineering fundamentals
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, production-ready code
• Ability to learn quickly and independently own technical problems

• Redis, Celery, queues, workers, or asynchronous processing
• Webhooks and third-party API integrations
• SaaS or multi-tenant architecture
• OCR, PDF parsing, OpenCV, PyMuPDF, or document extraction
• OpenAI / LLM APIs, structured extraction, RAG, or agentic workflows
• ERP, Tally, Zoho, accounting, GST, or invoice-processing experience
• React / Next.js / TypeScript familiarity
