Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and talented Android Intern to join our team at Eveo. As an Android Intern, you will work closely with our experienced mobile development team, contributing to the creation of innovative and user-friendly Android applications. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Android app development and contribute to exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our mobile application.
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
5. Work on integrating AI and AR functionalities into the mobile application to enhance user experience.
6. Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
2. Proficient in Java/Kotlin programming languages.
3. Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
4. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
5. Basic understanding of AR (Augmented Reality) and AI concepts.
6. Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and experience with creating user-friendly interfaces.
7. Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
8. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
9. Familiarity with the use of sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, within Android applications.

AI/ML Library Expertise:

• Experience with TensorFlow Lite or ML Kit for integrating machine learning models into Android apps.
• Familiarity with OpenCV for image recognition and processing tasks.
• Knowledge of libraries like Firebase ML for on-device AI implementation.
• Basic understanding of how to train, optimize, and deploy AI/ML models for mobile applications.
