Senior Backend Developer (Remote)

We are looking for experienced Full-Stack software engineers who have an affinity for creating scalable cloud applications on both the Front-End and the Back-end, to complement our engineering team focused on the Healthcare sector. An interest in learning more about AI and NLP doesn’t hurt.

deepPiXEL is a growing early stage AI company out of Toronto focused on helping enterprises with their customer engagements and services. We are looking to add 2-3 people to our engineering team.

Technologies and platforms you would use regularly include:
Javascript: Anguar v2+, NestJS, Typescript, Node.js, Webpack, Knex;
UI: CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap.
Database: Postgres/MongoDB.
Python: Flask/Tornado/Sanic, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow;
DevOps: Docker, AWS/Google/Azure, Linux, Bash.
DevTools: git, gulp/grunt, npm, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira/Fogbugz.

The key attributes we are looking for are motivation, commitment, independent thinking, and team play. Our team has extensive experience in deploying scalable cloud applications, AI and Machine Learning with 1 PhD, 1 experienced grad engineer, and 2 junior developers. Active mentorship and guidance will be provided to our engineers for further career development.
