Android Developer

We are seeking a talented Android Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java and Kotlin, with hands-on experience in building scalable native Android applications using the modern stack (Jetpack Compose, StateFlow, Coroutines, etc.) and strong problem-solving, data structures, and algorithms skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications for different form factors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design, and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and stability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Learn and adopt relevant Android development practices, tools, and technologies.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin is a must.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, common design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with native Android development using Jetpack Compose.
• Hands-on experience with reactive programming using Kotlin StateFlow or similar.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines or similar.
• Basic understanding of Android application architectures and architectural best practices.
• Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger/Hilt/Koin etc.
• Familiarity with using cloud APIs, push notifications etc.
• Proficient understanding of Git and code versioning workflows.
• Exposure to unit and instrumentation testing in Android is good to have.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development practices and tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and other AI-powered coding assistants.
