Tech-Ops Analyst

We are seeking a versatile Tech-Ops Analyst for a techno-functional role to join our team. The ideal
candidate will combine technical expertise with operational insight to manage and analyse channel
data, including point of sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and multi-tier distribution
channels. Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau is highly
desirable. Strong knowledge of Excel is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Techno-Functional Analysis: Apply both technical and operational skills to optimize channel
data systems. Analyse POS data, inventory levels, and multi-tier distribution channels to
enhance performance and efficiency.
• Data Management: Oversee the integration, organization, and accuracy of channel data,
including POS and inventory information. Ensure data consistency and reliability across
systems.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations
using BI tools to present channel performance metrics, inventory statuses, and distribution
efficiency.
• Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) for
data analysis, reporting, and automation tasks. Ensure accurate data manipulation and
reporting.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to channel
operations and inventory management. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to
improve channel strategies and supply chain operations.
• Technical Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and support channel data
systems, ensuring smooth data flow and system functionality.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with supply chain, marketing, sales, and other teams to
understand their needs, provide data-driven solutions, and support operational initiatives.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold data quality standards to maintain the
accuracy and integrity of channel and inventory data.
• Trend Analysis: Conduct analyses on market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive
landscape to inform strategic decisions related to channel management and inventory
control.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes,
system configurations, and operational workflows.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management,
Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience in a techno-functional role with a focus on channel data
management, including POS and inventory data.
• Technical Skills:
o Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP,
PivotTables, and macros.
o Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain concepts such as point of
sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and multi-tier distribution channels.
o Data Analysis: Experience in analysing and interpreting complex data sets related to
supply chain and channel management.
o BI Tools: Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools like Qlik, Power BI, or
Tableau is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the capability to derive actionable insights from
data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
effectively present technical and operational insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in both technical and operational
data analysis.

Preferred Skills:
• Advanced Analytical Tools: Familiarity with advanced analytical tools or programming
languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a plus.
• Project Management: Experience in managing projects related to channel data or supply
chain analytics.
