PhrasIQ is decision infrastructure for enterprise finance. Growth-stage SaaS finance teams have abundant data but slow, low-confidence decision-making, caused by structural problems: spreadsheets, disconnected systems, manual processes, and unmanaged tooling. AI tools layered on unstructured data make this worse, not better, since there's no clear boundary between what's verified and what's inferred.

PhrasIQ fixes the root cause. Our architecture has two layers. Loktak is a deterministic backbone handling entity resolution, grounding scores, data lineage, and a versioned canonical finance ontology, targeting 99.8%+ accuracy on resolved matches, validated in internal testing. InsightOS is the orchestration layer on top, running forecasting, variance analysis, and narrative generation, and it reaches Loktak only through its API, never the database directly. That boundary means every output traces back to verified, lineage-tracked data.

CFOs and VPs of Finance can trust and act on forecasts in real time.

About the Role

We're building the design practice from zero. You'll own product design end to end: interaction design, visual systems, and the translation of a genuinely complex product (multi-agent orchestration, lineage-tracked data, forecasting workflows) into something a CFO can trust and actually use without a manual. You'll build the design system and process from scratch, not inherit one, and as the practice grows, you'll shape how design gets done here.

This is a founding role. Equity-only until seed close or $250K ARR, at which point cash compensation activates.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end product design for InsightOS's user-facing surfaces: forecasting workflows, narrative outputs, variance/anomaly review, agent interaction patterns
• Build design systems and process from zero, there isn't one yet
• Translate deterministic/probabilistic architecture into interfaces that build user trust rather than confusion (e.g., surfacing what's verified vs. inferred)
• Work directly with the founder and engineering team on product decisions, not just visual execution
• Set the design standards and workflows that shape how the team designs going forward

Compensation
