About DWIG
DWIG is an ambient intelligence platform built for professionals in motion. We are developing
the first proactive AI personal assistant designed for people who spend their day on the road —
field sales consultants, executives, and mobile professionals who need their world handled
before they have to ask. We are an early-stage startup backed by TechStars and currently
raising our seed round. Our team is small, focused, and building something genuinely new.
This internship is real work, not busywork. You will contribute directly to a product that is actively
being designed, built, and taken to market. You will work closely with the founding team, have
ownership over meaningful deliverables, and leave with a portfolio of work you can point to.

About the Role
DWIG is building an ambient intelligence engine that orchestrates data from calendars, CRMs,
maps, weather services, and real-time city intelligence to proactively help mobile professionals
navigate their day. We are looking for a software engineering intern who is comfortable working
across the stack, curious about AI and LLM-powered applications, and eager to own a real
project from start to finish.
You will work in a fast-moving, small-team environment where your code ships to a real product.
You will be expected to think independently, ask good questions, and figure things out — using
modern tools including LLMs and AI-assisted coding environments as a standard part of your
workflow.

What You Will Work On
Feature Development Build and ship features for DWIG’s mobile and backend systems.
Depending on your skills and interests, this may include front-end mobile components (React
Native), backend API development (Node.js / Python), or data pipeline work.
LLM Integration Work with large language model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) to build
intelligent features — including context-aware notification generation, voice-to-CRM extraction,
pre-meeting brief assembly, and ambient summarization.
Third-Party API Integration Integrate external services including Google Maps, Salesforce,
HubSpot, SpotHero, Tomorrow.io, LinkedIn, and others into DWIG’s orchestration layer.
AI-Assisted Development Use modern AI coding tools — including Cursor, GitHub Copilot,
and LLM-based code generation — as a standard part of your development workflow. We
expect you to be fluent in these tools, not just aware of them.
Research and Prototyping Research technical approaches to new features, evaluate libraries
and APIs, and build proof-of-concept implementations to validate feasibility before full
development.
Code Quality and Documentation Write clean, well-documented code. Participate in code
reviews. Leave the codebase better than you found it.
Independent Project Ownership You will be assigned a defined project with clear goals and
expected to drive it to completion with appropriate check-ins. This is not a task-queue role —
you will own something.

What We Are Looking For
Required
Proficiency in at least two of: JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, Java
Experience building with REST APIs — both consuming and designing them
Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering — you understand how to work with
language model APIs, structure prompts effectively, and handle model outputs in production
Comfortable using Cursor, VS Code, or similar modern IDEs as your primary development
environment
Ability to work independently on a defined project — you can break down a problem, make
decisions, and ship without needing constant direction
Strong debugging and problem-solving instincts — you figure things out
Preferred
Experience with React Native or mobile development (iOS / Android)
Familiarity with Node.js or FastAPI / Flask for backend development
Understanding of vector databases, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or agentic
AI patterns
Experience with Salesforce API, Google Maps API, Google Calendar API, or similar thirdparty integrations
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and basic DevOps practices
Interest in ambient computing, AI agents, or productivity technology
