Some people love attending events. Others love making them worth attending.

We are hiring an Events & Community Associate to help build memorable events and a thriving community for Tetr's postgraduate aspirants and students from around the world. This is a hands-on operator role for someone who combines warmth with people, sharp attention to detail and calm judgment when plans change.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Event delivery, 55%
• Plan and execute online, offline and hybrid events from brief to post-event follow-up.
• Build run-of-shows, owner trackers, vendor plans, budgets, speaker briefs and backup plans.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, senior leaders, speakers, vendors and student stakeholders.
• Own the details that make an experience feel effortless, including communication, hosting flow, AV readiness, attendee care and follow-through.

Community operations, 25%
• Help activate and manage our community on Circle and other approved channels.
• Create rhythms that encourage meaningful participation, peer connection and timely support.
• Track engagement, identify quiet or at-risk members and close the loop on community needs.

Communications and content, 15%
• Write clear event invitations, reminders, briefs, recaps and student-facing updates.
• Turn programme moments into useful, engaging content without losing accuracy or context.

Analytics and sensible automation, 5%
• Track attendance, engagement, feedback and follow-up.
• Use AI and automation to reduce repetitive work while keeping human judgment, ownership and quality at the centre.

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS

• You independently own documented event plans with clear responsibilities, timelines and backups.
• Run-of-shows and stakeholder communication are reliable and on time.
• Post-event follow-up and Circle activation reporting happen consistently.
• Repeatable SOPs and templates begin replacing ad hoc execution.
• There are zero avoidable critical misses.

WHO WILL THRIVE HERE

• You have roughly 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in events, communities, cohorts, student programmes, hospitality or operations. Strong freshers with exceptional proof of ownership may also be considered.
• You can show evidence of taking something from idea to execution, not just supporting from the sidelines.
• You communicate clearly in writing and live settings.
• You are organised, resourceful and comfortable managing several moving parts.
• You have sound visual judgment and can create clean, useful decks and communications.
• You use AI thoughtfully, disclose how you used it and improve its output rather than treating it as a substitute for judgment.
• Proof of ownership matters more to us than a perfect pedigree.

WORK MODEL

Five-day WFO in Gurugram is non-negotiable. Reasonable WFH exceptions may be approved for genuine exigencies; this is not a routine hybrid role. Please apply only if you are currently based in, or willing to relocate to, Gurugram.
