One of our leading client is looking for Backend Engineer with Python

Role Summary : Need a GCP Backend Engineer to build and enhance cloud-native APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) supporting a strategic voice platform modernization initiative. The role focuses on developing scalable backend services and integrations to enable migration of voice services to Twilio.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services on Google Cloud Platform.
Develop integrations using Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, and BigQuery.
Implement unit and integration testing using pytest and httpx.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
Expertise in REST API and Microservices development with experience in pytest, httpx, and automated testing frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, BigQuery
