About ASBL
ASBL is a technology-driven real estate organization building in-house products and platforms to solve complex business and operational challenges across the real estate lifecycle.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our CRM Product team and work at the intersection of Business, Operations, and Technology.
This role is highly operations-focused. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working close to business teams, understanding complex operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and converting them into scalable product solutions.
Role Overview
As a Product Manager , you will own product initiatives for the CRM platform with a strong focus on business operations, process efficiency, workflow management, and problem-solving.
You will work closely with operational and business teams to understand how work is actually executed on the ground, identify bottlenecks and gaps, and build technology-led solutions that improve productivity, visibility, control, and customer experience.
This role requires strong execution ownership — from understanding the problem and mapping the existing process to defining the solution, working with technology teams, driving implementation, and ensuring adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Process Ownership
- Work closely with business and operations teams to understand end-to-end processes, workflows, dependencies, and operational challenges.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, manual interventions, control gaps, and recurring operational problems.
- Map current-state processes and design improved future-state workflows using product and technology solutions.
- Understand the operational impact of product decisions and ensure solutions are practical and scalable for business users.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, standardization, and improved operational control.
- Act as a bridge between business operations and technology teams to ensure business problems are translated into effective product solutions.
Product Management & Execution
- Own CRM product initiatives from problem identification through solution definition, development, launch, and adoption.
- Convert operational and business requirements into clear product requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define product priorities based on business impact, operational criticality, customer impact, and feasibility.
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and business stakeholders to drive execution.
- Participate actively throughout development to ensure the solution addresses the underlying business problem rather than simply implementing a stated requirement.
- Drive timely resolution of dependencies, issues, and ambiguities during execution.
CRM & Customer Journey
- Develop a strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and CRM journey, including interactions across business and operational teams.
- Identify gaps in customer journeys, lead management, follow-ups, workflows, handoffs, and service processes.
- Improve CRM workflows to enable better visibility, accountability, productivity, and customer experience.
- Build solutions that enable business teams to manage customer and operational processes more effectively.
Cross-functional Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Business, Sales, Operations, Technology, Design, Data, and leadership teams.
- Engage directly with operational stakeholders to understand problems at their source.
- Challenge existing processes and requirements where necessary and identify better ways of solving the underlying problem.
- Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and manage competing requirements and priorities.
- Communicate product decisions, trade-offs, priorities, and outcomes clearly.
Product Adoption & Continuous Improvement
- Drive successful implementation and adoption of new CRM capabilities across business teams.
- Monitor usage, operational outcomes, and user feedback after product launches.
- Identify gaps between intended and actual process adoption and work towards improving them.
- Use data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve workflows and product capabilities.
- Measure the impact of product initiatives through relevant business, operational, customer, and product metrics.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a business/operations-heavy environment.
- Strong experience working closely with Business and Operations teams rather than working purely within a technology/product environment.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and improving complex business processes and operational workflows.
- Strong ability to identify the root cause of operational problems and translate them into scalable product solutions.
- Experience driving initiatives from problem identification to execution and adoption.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, business processes, workflows, and operational dependencies.
- Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Strong ownership and execution mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, and highly execution-oriented environments.
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working across B2B and B2C products.
- Experience building or managing CRM, workflow, sales, customer lifecycle, operations, or process-management products.
- Experience in FinTech, lending, BFSI, financial products, payments, or related domains is an added advantage.
- Experience in organizations where Product teams work closely with large operational/business teams.
- Experience with process automation, workflow digitization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Experience using product and business data to identify operational problems and measure improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
Operations-first | Business-oriented | Strong problem solver | Execution-focused | Product-minded | High ownership
The ideal candidate should be someone who can go beyond simply documenting requirements.
They should be able to deeply understand how a business process works, identify what is broken or inefficient, challenge existing ways of working, define a better solution, and drive the solution through technology to measurable business impact.
Success in This Role
Success will be measured by the ability to:
- Solve meaningful business and operational problems through product.
- Simplify and improve complex workflows and processes.
- Reduce manual effort and operational inefficiencies.
- Improve visibility, accountability, and control across CRM processes.
- Drive adoption of CRM capabilities across business teams.
- Deliver product initiatives with strong execution and stakeholder alignment.
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in business and operational outcomes.
