About The Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer II with 2–3 years of hands-on React experience to build customer-facing interfaces for SaaS products data-heavy tables, filters, bulk actions, and dashboards that need to stay clear and fast.
The ideal candidate has strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, good API-integration skills, an eye for UI detail, and a willingness to grow toward owning larger parts of the frontend.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain customer-facing features using React 18/19 and TypeScript.
Develop pages and components in Next.js, following its routing and rendering patterns.
Turn designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-accurate interfaces across screen sizes.
Consume REST APIs and handle loading, empty, error, and edge-case states properly.
Manage application state using Redux Toolkit and/or Context API, choosing the right tool for the situation.
Implement client-side routing and navigation flows with React Router.
Build and reuse components; contribute to the shared component library.
Write unit and component tests using Jest or Vitest with React Testing Library.
Write clean, readable, and testable code with proper error handling.
Debug frontend issues reported by customers and support, under guidance where needed.
Participate in code reviews and improve code based on feedback.
Collaborate with backend engineers, design, QA, and product teams.
Flag early when a design will be slow, confusing, or expensive to build.
Use AI coding tools responsibly for productivity, debugging, and documentation support.
Required Skills
2–3 years of professional frontend development experience with React.
Hands-on experience with React 18/19, including hooks and modern component patterns.
Strong TypeScript skills — typing props, state, API responses, and shared utilities.
Working experience with Next.js.
Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 fundamentals.
Experience working against REST APIs.
Practical experience with state management using Redux Toolkit and/or Context API.
Experience with React Router for client-side routing.
Solid responsive UI development skills across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Hands-on experience with Git and pull-request workflows.
Experience writing unit/component tests with Jest or Vitest and React Testing Library.
Ability to debug issues using browser dev tools and read API responses/logs.
Attention to detail on UI and UX.
Clear communication in English.
Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or similar tools.
AI Coding Practices
The candidate should be open to using AI tools as part of daily development, while reviewing and testing all generated code before use.
Expected usage includes:
Understanding unfamiliar code faster.
Generating simple boilerplate or test cases.
Debugging issues with support from console errors and stack traces.
Improving documentation or code comments where useful.
Avoiding unsafe AI usage, including exposing secrets, credentials, private customer data, or production data.
Good To Have
Tailwind CSS or modern CSS approaches (CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, container queries).
React Query / TanStack Query for server-state management and caching.
CI/CD pipeline exposure (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Docker basics for local development.
Azure or AWS exposure.
Accessibility (WCAG) awareness semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA basics.
Performance optimization memoization, code splitting, lazy loading, bundle size.
Experience with data-heavy dashboards, tables, or admin panels.
Experience working on SaaS products.
End-to-end testing with Cypress or Playwright.
