Software Development Engineer in Test ( SDET )

We are currently seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in software quality assurance. This role requires writing unit and integration test cases, executing system tests, and setting up automated testing suites. The ideal candidate will be proficient in C or C++ and have experience in the avionics or automotive industries, especially in safety-critical systems. Familiarity with DO-178C standards is a major plus. The position also involves occasional travel to client locations to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with our testing strategies.

Responsibilities
Test Case Development: Design and maintain effective unit and integration test cases using C or C++.
Automated Testing: Develop and manage automated test suites to ensure high-quality software delivery.
System Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of software systems to detect and resolve issues.
Compliance and Standards: Adhere to DO-178C standards, particularly in the context of avionics or automotive safety-critical systems.
Client Interaction: Travel to client locations as needed to collaborate, gather requirements, and provide testing expertise.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams and stakeholders to align testing strategies with business objectives.
Documentation: Document all test cases, results, and identified issues meticulously.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Demonstrable experience in software testing, particularly in writing test cases in C or C++.
Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
Experience with DO-178C standards, especially in safety-critical systems in the avionics or automotive sectors.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
