About the Role

Optime-Tech LLC is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in a remote US-based position. This role is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable applications and working with modern Java technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested production-quality code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and other technical teams.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Follow established software development and Agile practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong professional experience developing backend applications with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot and backend application development.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices and distributed application architectures.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with software development best practices, debugging, testing, and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
