About the job
Job description:
Dentira is one of the fastest-growing, profitable healthcare startups, transforming clinic operations across multiple countries. Our flagship product revolutionized dental procurement with the world’s first real-time price and product comparison engine for dental supplies across the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Building on this, our new Lab Platform streamlines case creation and management by connecting clinics, intraoral scanners, and labs. We’re also leveraging advanced AI to solve complex challenges like automatic invoice reconciliation and procedure cost prediction solutions with broad applicability across healthcare. As we expand into adjacent verticals, our goal is to achieve 10X growth in the next 3 years.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead people operations at Dentira. You will own the end-to-end HR function — from policies and compliance to employee relations and culture — and act as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage core HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and HR compliance
- Draft, implement, and continuously improve HR policies in line with applicable labour laws
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters
- Partner with leadership on performance management, appraisals, and compensation planning
- Drive recruitment coordination and support hiring managers through the interview process
- Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, POSH, and other applicable labour regulations
- Build and maintain a strong, transparent, and people-first culture across the organisation
- Own *HRMS (Keka) *administration — employee records, leave tracking, and payroll coordination
- Support and advise managers on people-related decisions with a balance of empathy and business pragmatism
Primary Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR Manager role, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment
- Strong working knowledge of** Indian labour laws — Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESI, POSH, and related compliances
- Experience managing end-to-end employee lifecycle — hiring to exit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations
- Hands-on experience with an HRMS platform (Keka or equivalent)
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, with flexibility for a hybrid work model
Good to have:
- Experience working in a fast-growing SaaS or tech company
- Exposure to compensation benchmarking and salary structuring
- Prior experience setting up or improving HR policies from scratch
