The Role

We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to join the Squama Marketing team.

In this role, you will help improve website search visibility and performance through technical SEO, website optimisation, audits, and ongoing improvements.

This is an opportunity to work on real websites, develop your SEO skills, and contribute to the growth of a company that is building its digital marketing and web development services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and identify website issues
• Identify opportunities to improve website crawlability and indexation
• Optimise website structure, metadata, headings, and internal linking
• Analyse website performance and search visibility
• Monitor and report on SEO performance
• Identify broken links, indexing issues, duplicate content, and other technical problems
• Work with WordPress and other website platforms
• Use SEO tools to research, analyse, and monitor websites
• Collaborate with the marketing and web development team
• Assist with implementing SEO improvements
• Research SEO trends, search engine updates, and best practices

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with websites and identifying technical issues
• Familiar with how search engines crawl and index websites
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and projects
• Interested in testing new SEO strategies and tools
• Able to communicate technical issues clearly

Compensation

This role follows a contribution-based and paid contract model.

Client projects will be paid per project, with compensation varying depending on the project scope and client budget.
