English to German Translation Reviewer

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced English to German Translation Reviewer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing German translations for some of our large and established clients. The content primarily revolves around entertainment and nature, and education, with a specific focus on understanding the unique slang and language nuances used in this context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review approximately 300 minutes of translation per month.
• Efficiently review and edit translations.
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and maintain the integrity of the original content.
• Make necessary edits to lines, and additional edits as needed to enhance quality.
• Familiarize yourself with the specific language and slang used in the client's content to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and German, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience in translation and translation review, particularly in the entertainment or sports sector.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with translation software is a plus.

Compensation: Equates to $20-$28 CAD an hour. Will share more details.
