What You’ll Do

As the Sr. Manager, Infrastructure, you are directly accountable for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting the strategic road map of the infrastructure systems and technologies used at Curio Brands. You have deep experience in maintaining the integrity of Curio’s systems, security, and network environment. You have proven track record of leading a technical team in incident resolution, systems monitoring configuration, and problem analysis and leading deployment of new systems and infrastructure.

Systems Support:

  • Responsible for the overall design, installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of all systems used within the company (If it has a power cord, we are involved).
  • Understand and own the technology footprint. Focus on improving performance of systems and/or network. Recommend and implement strategies to improve systems reliability and performance for the company not just the IT department.
  • Develop and maintain a systems disaster recovery plan.
  • Ability to independently design and develop task automations to improve processing efficiency, repeatability, and quality.

Cyber Security: responsible for the safety,security and privacyof all things IT including, but not limitedto, the network, and all applications.

  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Routinely research latest security trends, threats, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead the support team, providing guidance on work priority and higher-level technical issues.
  • Manage all level of organizational support, across all departments.
  • Act as a team lead to train, coach, and mentor others, and/or provide project leadership.

User Support:

  • Provide technical information to users as appropriate. Analyze more complex end user issues and recommend fixes or improvements
  • Lead efforts with users to develop complex systems and/or network solutions. May act as user liaison on large projects.
  • Provide on call support, 24/7 to maintain business continuity.

  • You drive business results by fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • You ensure that company communications are shared with your team in a timely, positive, and clear manner.
  • You maintain and protect company proprietary information.
  • You follow safety policies, take action to resolve safety concerns, and ensure your team maintains a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • You understand that success in your role could include occasional extended work hours as necessary to meet seasonal deadlines and that periodically, you may be asked to perform other duties not included in your role description.

What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience with Enterprise level IT infrastructure and network support.
  • Demonstrated success in effectively managing, supervising, and coaching technical teams
  • Strong skills and experience in infrastructure security management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of client-server and Internet systems architectures.
  • Working knowledge of standards and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively, both written & verbally, with internal and external customers requiring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function as a strategic and critical thinker with good organizational skills and ability to prioritize, plan and execute.
  • Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or departmental needs.
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross locational team environment

Additional Information

  • Travel Requirement: less than 5%
  • Work Environment: General office or home office environment
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • When in a facility, occasional exposure to dusty and fragrant conditions
