Experience developing web applications and APIs.
Familiarity with databases and SQL.
Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience with React, Node.js, Python, .NET, or similar technologies.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
Experience building internal business applications or workflow automation.
Experience working with construction, engineering, logistics, field services, or other operational businesses.
What You'll Get
The opportunity to own meaningful software projects from idea to implementation.
Direct exposure to business and operational decision-making.
A collaborative environment where your ideas can have a measurable impact.
Competitive compensation and benefits.
Opportunities for professional growth and development.
The chance to help transform technology and processes within a growing company.
How We Work
We value practical engineering, ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement. We're looking for someone who doesn't just write code, but wants to understand the problem behind the code and build solutions that genuinely make people's work easier.
If you're a software engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems and wants to have a visible impact on a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
McDonagh Demolition is an equal opportunity employer.
