1️⃣ Optometrist

Qualification: B.Optom (Diploma in Optometry accepted only for batches before 2020) Experience: 0–6 years Salary (Net Take-Home):

0–3 Yrs: ₹25,720 – ₹32,920
4–6 Yrs: ₹32,920 – ₹42,720

Skill Set Required:

Visual acuity testing & refraction (retinoscopy, subjective refraction)
Contact lens fitting and aftercare
Screening for common eye conditions (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia)
Use of optometry equipment (auto-refractometer, slit lamp, lensometer)
Prescription accuracy and record-keeping
Patient counselling and eye-care advisory
Basic computer literacy for billing/EMR systems
Strong communication and customer-handling skills

2️⃣ Eyewear Consultant (EC)

Qualification: Minimum 12th Pass Experience: 0–3 years (min. 1+ yr optical experience preferred) Salary (Net Take-Home): ₹22,000 – ₹30,800

Skill Set Required:

Frame styling & face-shape based recommendations
Product knowledge — lenses, coatings, frame materials, sunglasses
Retail sales & upselling techniques
POS billing and inventory handling
Customer service and objection handling
Basic understanding of prescriptions (to coordinate with optometrist)
Visual merchandising sense
Target-driven mindset

3️⃣ Store Manager (SM)

Qualification: Graduate (any stream) Experience: 5–12 years (min. 6+ yrs optical retail experience) Salary (Net Take-Home):

5–8 Yrs: ₹31,000 – ₹43,000
9–12 Yrs: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000
Skill Set Required:

End-to-end store operations & P&L ownership
Team leadership, staff scheduling & performance management
Sales target planning and achievement
Inventory & stock management
Customer escalation handling
Store audit & compliance (visual merchandising, hygiene, SOPs)
Reporting & MIS (daily/weekly sales reports)
People management and training of ECs/Optometrists

🕒 Work Details

Working Days: 6 days/week | Week Off: Rotational
Shifts: 10:30/11 AM – 8:30/9 PM or 12/12:30 PM – 9:30 PM / store close (9.5 hrs incl. 1 hr lunch)
