Job Description: Senior Manager – Analytics & AI
Location: Gurugram (NCR) || Experience: 4–6 Years
About the Role
We are looking for a high-potential analytics professional with 4–6 years of experience to lead analytics, automation, and AI initiatives across collections, recoveries, and portfolio management.
This role sits at the intersection of Business Analytics, Data Science, AI, and Strategy. Working closely with senior leadership, you will solve complex business problems through predictive analytics, automation, and AI while leading a small team of analysts. It is a hands-on managerial role with significant ownership, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to shape the organization's Analytics & AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze portfolio, collections, legal, and customer data to generate actionable business insights.
• Build analytical frameworks for recovery optimization, agency performance, customer segmentation, and portfolio strategy.
• Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
• Translate business problems into analytical models and measurable outcomes.
• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models such as Recovery Propensity, Settlement Probability, Contact Prioritization, Agency Performance, and Portfolio Segmentation.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to improve business decision-making.
• Develop Python-based automation solutions, reusable analytical pipelines, and reporting workflows.
• Experiment with Generative AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts.
• Partner with Business, Operations, Legal, Technology, and Collections teams to deliver analytics-led solutions.
• Ensure data quality, validation, governance, and audit readiness across analytical initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• SQL and Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables; VBA preferred)
• Power BI or Tableau
• Statistics, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization
• Experience building automation workflows and analytical models
• Working knowledge of Generative AI and LLM-based applications
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub is desirable
Leadership & Behavioral Skills
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability
• Experience leading projects and managing or mentoring teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to independently drive initiatives from concept to implementation
• High ownership, curiosity, and passion for solving business problems using data and AI
Preferred Background
Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Tier-1 institute in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.
Experience
• 4–6 years in Analytics Consulting, Banking Analytics, NBFC, FinTech, Credit Risk, Collections, or Financial Services Analytics.
• Experience in predictive modelling, automation, and enterprise-scale analytics.
• Exposure to retail lending, collections, recoveries, portfolio analytics, or risk analytics will be an added advantage.
