Description

GlobalLogic estimates the starting base salary for the Senior Java Developer in Deerfield, IL to be between $120000 to $130000 and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Requirements

Tech Skills – Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Azure

Minimum 10 Years Of Software Development Experience

Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities

Develop and implement an architecture strategy

Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices, and solutions that meet customer needs

Ensuring high quality code is produced and maintained through code review and frequent defect prevention activity

Work closely in small teams to create well integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts

Agile/ Scrum/Kanban experience

Should be strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles

Should be very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate

Should be very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices

Should have working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases

Should be proficient in documenting the process and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger etc.,

Should be proficient with Azure services

Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search)
