Founding Product & Operations Lead (Co-Founder Track)

Payeena is an escrow and payment protection platform securing online and peer-to-peer transactions. We already have a functional core product, live web platform, and established PRDs. We are seeking an execution-focused Founding Product & Operations Lead to partner directly with our Technical Co-Founder to take us through launch and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Optimization: Review and refine existing user flows, deal creation wizards, and payment checkout loops using our live codebase and PRDs.
• Operations & Dispute Management: Own dispute resolution policies, manual arbitration workflows, and edge-case handling for under/overpayments and ghosting.
• Compliance & KYC: Oversee NIN verification processes (Dojah/Prembly) and ensure smooth onboarding for high-value transactions.
• Product Operations: Set up event tracking, gather user feedback from early transactions, and manage operational back-office dashboards.

Requirements:
2+ years in Product Management, Product Operations, or Fintech Operations.

Experience with payment workflows, escrow, e-commerce, or regulated NIgerian fintech rails.

High agency, strong operational discipline, and comfort joining an existing product to refine and drive execution.
