About the job

This Isn’t your average role.

The longevity revolution is happening right now — and the conversation is still being written.
Dr. Ram Hariharan is a longevity scientist at the cutting edge as an AI researcher, visiting scientist at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and director at Northeastern University. He’s spent his career using data modeling and artificial intelligence to tackle some of the hardest problems in medicine — from precision oncology to the science of how and why we age. He has a book dropping in 2027, and he’s building coursework designed to cut through the noise and bring evidence-driven longevity science to the masses.

And he needs someone to help him tell that story.

This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of one of the most exciting and fast-moving fields in science. Longevity isn’t just a trend — it’s a paradigm shift. The tools, the research, the cultural conversation — it’s all evolving in real time, and the people helping shape how it’s communicated right now will matter.

What you'll actually do

Turn research papers, lectures, and Ram's own commentary into short-form video concepts, scripts, and captions for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
Draft LinkedIn posts that carry more of a thought-leadership tone
Track what's landing (and what isn't) across platforms and turn that into a lightweight content strategy
Help build out a content calendar tied to the book launch (2027) and course rollout
Occasionally sit in on interviews, lectures, or research conversations to pull raw material

What you'll bring

Genuine interest in health, aging, or biotech — you don't need a science degree, but you should be comfortable reading past the headline
A track record of making things (a personal account, a class project, freelance content — show us, don't just tell us)
Comfort with short-form video, whether that's shooting, editing, or just having a sharp eye for what works
Self-direction — this is a small, fast-moving team, not a big internship program with training wheels

Logistics

8-15 hours a week, remote and duration one semester or the full year (you pick)
Unpaid, but open to academic credit if your program supports it
Start date: Aug 2026

What you'll get

Direct mentorship from a scientist actively publishing and building in this space
A portfolio of real, published work — not busywork
A front-row seat as the longevity conversation is being shaped
Letter of recommedation, path to potentially paid work

If you’re curious, creative, and hungry to be part of something that matters — this is your moment.
