Fractional CTO / Technical Lead

Global Pathways AI, Inc. is hiring a Fractional CTO / Technical Lead – AI/ML Platform based in the United States or Canada.

This is a fully remote, part-time equity-based opportunity. No cash compensation is offered at this stage; equity terms will be discussed with selected candidates.

Experience: 10+ years in software/engineering, including 3+ years in senior technical leadership

Key Responsibilities:

• Own technical strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap
• Lead and mentor our offshore engineering team
• Guide AI/ML, backend, frontend, infrastructure, security, and scalability decisions
• Establish engineering standards and review architecture and code quality
• Partner with Product and leadership on roadmap and business priorities
• Support technical hiring and team development
• Improve AI reliability, performance, and production readiness

Required:
Python, FastAPI, AI/ML systems, scalable APIs, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and technical leadership

Nice to Have:
React, TypeScript, ML pipelines, predictive modeling, Gemini API integrations, feature engineering, experience reducing AI hallucinations, and 0→1 startup experience
