SAP Solution Architect / SAP Presales Manager, Bangalore, WHO

We are seeking a seasoned, high-caliber SAP Solution Architect / SAP Presales Manager with over 12 years of core industry experience. This critical role acts as the bridging link between complex corporate business requirements and SAP technologies, supporting enterprise clients throughout the presales, solutioning, and implementation lifecycle.
The ideal candidate must possess an exhaustive functional understanding of major SAP ecosystems, demonstrate exceptional executive customer-facing capabilities, and show proven success leading technical solution discussions alongside delivery infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Presales & Executive Customer Engagement • Partner closely with sales organizations during customer alignment sessions, RFPs, RFIs, and complex bidding cycles. • Map client operational environments, pinpoint organizational friction, and engineer custom end-to-end SAP solution architectures. • Create and present top-tier SAP solution proofs of concept (POCs), executive presentations, and strategic costing proposals to CXOs.
2. Business Process & Digital Transformation • Architect target-state blueprints optimized for cloud and digital transformation using SAP Activate methodologies. • Act as an executive-level advisor guiding customers toward standardized industry processes and SAP best practices. • Provide continuous functional governance and solution direction to delivery/implementation teams post-sale.
3. Technical Ecosystem Governance • Coordinate multi-module integration across functional and technical domains to validate architectural integrity. • Perform comprehensive design reviews ensuring all components explicitly solve client operational parameters.
4. Interviewing & Team Scaling • Conduct deep-dive functional and technical competence assessments to scale delivery operations. • Evaluate external candidates across a broad spectrum of modules, including but not limited to: SAP S/4HANA, ECC, FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, EWM, TM, ABAP, BTP, Basis, BW/BI, and Fiori.
5. Project Escalation & Risk Mitigation • Function as the principal escalation tier for critical architectural hurdles, working directly with steering committees to lower risk. • Support project sizing, effort forecasting, resource planning, and solution estimation metrics. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related business field. • Experience: Minimum 12+ years of clear path history in SAP consulting, solution architecture, and enterprise presales environments. • Product Depth: Elite knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Cloud Applications, and SAP Activate frameworks.
