Chief Operating Officer

Aventus Group is a global financial group operating in 28 countries and ranked among the world's leading fintech companies by loan portfolio volume.
As we continue to expand our lending business in Canada, we are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead and scale our operational function, ensuring efficient customer journeys, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations across the lending lifecycle, including customer onboarding, verification, underwriting support, disbursement, customer service, and collections coordination;
• Develop and optimize operational processes, policies, and performance standards;
• Monitor key operational KPIs, productivity, service quality, and customer experience metrics;
• Drive process automation and operational efficiency initiatives;
• Collaborate closely with Risk, Product, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams;
• Manage vendors and third-party service providers;
• Ensure compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements and internal policies;
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.

Major requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in operations within online lending, fintech, consumer finance or personallending;
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing operations teams;
• Strong understanding of digital lending processes and customer lifecycle management;
• Proven track record of scaling operations and improving operational KPIs;
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving process improvements;
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
