YOUR TASKS

  • Overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization in conjunction with the executive team and the board of directors.
  • Analyzing company's financial results and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budget planning as well as the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Ensuring that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
  • Analyzing financial information to assist in business development and make recommendations on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
  • Overseeing the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Investigating variances in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Controlling and evaluating the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for financial planning and cost analysis.
  • Implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information and managing staff members in these tasks as necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
  • Identifying, acquiring and implementing systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information.

Your Qualifications

  • Salary Range-$50,000-$90,000
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field from an accredited institution. A CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within a corporate setting. Experience in a senior management position is preferred.
  • An advanced understanding of business principles, financial management, budgeting and forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • A high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner.
  • Exhibit a high degree of confidentiality, along with integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and unnecessary pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience. Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
  • Experience in working with legal and regulatory compliance procedures is preferred.
