Influur Pulse is the AI-powered platform that makes it possible, creating and executing full influencer marketing campaigns with a single prompt, already trusted by Sony Music and Warner Music Group, and built to scale to every founder, marketer, and creator on the planet.

**The Role

We're looking for a CTO to own the entire technical vision behind Pulse and build the team that brings it to life. This is the most senior technical seat at the company, and it sits next to the Founders, not behind them.

This isn't an executive who leads from the org chart. This is someone who sets the technical direction, recruits exceptional people, and still goes deep in the code when it counts. You'll define the architecture, shape the product alongside the Founders, and turn an ambitious vision into something that ships and scales.

This role is for someone who has lived the chaos of an early-stage startup, loved it, and knows how to bring structure and leadership without slowing things down.

**What You'll Own

• Technical vision and strategy: You own where the technology goes. You set the direction, make the hard calls on what to build and what to cut, and connect every technical decision back to the business and to where the company is headed.
• Build and lead the team: This is the part that matters most. You recruit, organize, and grow an exceptional engineering team from a lean base. You set a high bar, develop the people on it, and create an environment where great engineers do their best work. You lead with clarity and trust.
• Product vision and partnership: You sit with the Founders and help shape the product, not just execute it. You turn vision into a roadmap, push back when something doesn't make sense, and propose better paths when you see them. You translate what customers actually need into what gets built.
• AI-first and agentic by default: At Influur, AI isn't a tool you reach for occasionally, it's how we breathe. You lead by example. You're hands-on with foundational models, agents, and automation, you know the tradeoffs, and you make sure the whole team works the same way.
• Hands-on and data-oriented: You can still write code and go deep when it counts, and you make decisions grounded in data, not opinion. You instrument what matters and let the numbers guide the bets.
• Architecture that scales: You own the decisions that let us grow without rebuilding. Infrastructure, APIs, data pipelines, real-time campaign execution, you design systems that grow with the product, not against it.
• Reliability that earns trust: Sony Music and WMG depend on what we build. You make sure it works, without turning reliability into bureaucracy.

**What We're Looking For

• This role is for someone who has already built in the AI-native era of engineering, not someone who's catching up to it.
• Strong managerial and leadership skills, you've built and grown engineering teams, and people do their best work with you.
• Real product vision, you connect technology to business and to where the company is going.
• Deep, hands-on technical ability.
• Real experience with AI agents and automation, and a clear view of the foundational model landscape and its tradeoffs.
• Data-oriented in how you decide and how you build.
• Startup experience, you've built through at least one 0 to 1 and one real growth phase.
• Strong backend and systems fundamentals, you can go deep when it counts.
• Low ego, high output.

• Competitive compensation. Base in the $250K to $330K range depending on seniority, plus a meaningful equity package. We're open to negotiate.
