ABOUT SHE & HER
She & HER is a community-first platform for the sapphic community. Sapphic, by design. We launched June 28, 2026 at NYC Pride, where our founding members became the first in the world to have the app. We're Houston-based, backed by Google for Startups and NVIDIA Inception, and building intentional infrastructure for WLW connection — with safety and authenticity designed in from the first screen.

Our internships are paid. We think that matters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Ship features in our Flutter app alongside our engineering team, with code review from engineers who built systems at Google scale.
• Contribute to the data pipelines behind our matching and recommendation models.
• Help build trust & safety tooling — the part of the stack we never deprioritize.
• Write code that real members use within weeks, not a sandbox project.

WHO YOU ARE
• CS/engineering student or early-career developer with working knowledge of at least one of: Flutter/Dart, Python, or Firebase/GCP.
• You care about how ML systems treat the people they serve — fairness and privacy are interesting problems to you, not compliance chores.
• You can work independently for a week at a time and show up to syncs with questions.

DETAILS
• $1,500/month stipend • ~15 hours/week • 12 weeks, starting mid-September 2026
• Remote (US), Houston preferred

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP
You'll work directly with a founding team whose background spans Google ranking and fairness, Xbox player matching, and Google Spanner/Privacy Sandbox. Small team, real scope, real mentorship.
