Product Engineer

We are looking for an engineer to work on:

• A Fastify and TypeScript API built on Postgres
• An LLM-powered pipeline that generates text and audio stories
• A React Native mobile app that consumes the API and story content

Requirements

• Backend experience in TypeScript on Node (strict, ESM). Fastify preferred.
• ⁠Relational data modeling and SQL: schema design, indexes, query performance, migrations you'd run against live data. We use Prisma + Postgres.
• Operating services in production: Docker, GitHub Actions, a PaaS (Fly.io/Railway/Render), Redis.
• Work on React Native / Expo app and ship features end to end.

Bonus

• LLM application engineering: multi-stage pipelines, structured output parsing, retries, concurrency, cost/latency tradeoffs. Not prompt tuning.
• Firebase auth and FCM, RevenueCat, AdMob, Mixpanel.
• ⁠Shipped a React Native app to both stores: releases, OTA, native builds.
• Background jobs, schedulers, multi-instance services.

Note: We are closing our pre-seed, and have a preference for those who can join ASAP. Start with a 2-week paid contract, extendable to full-time role after that.
