Teaching Associate / Faculty – Software Engineering, AI & Computer Science

We're looking for Teaching Associates, Faculty Members, and Industry Engineers who enjoy mentoring and believe engineering education should mirror how software is built in the real world.

This isn't a traditional teaching role.

You'll mentor students through real software engineering practices by guiding them on production-grade projects, open-source development, system design, code reviews, debugging, software architecture, engineering best practices, modern development workflows, and collaborative software development.

About Us

We are a new-age technology institute on a mission to transform engineering education in India.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between academia and the software industry by providing hands-on, project-driven learning that reflects how modern engineering teams build software. Students learn through real-world projects, open-source contributions, system design, code reviews, engineering documentation, debugging, testing, benchmarking, DevOps practices, and collaborative development.

Working in collaboration with a university in Dehradun, we are building an ecosystem where experienced educators and engineers can mentor, inspire, and help shape the next generation of software engineers.

We are looking for educators who don't just teach technology—but actively build, explore, and innovate with it.

• Open Source Software Development

We're Looking For People Who

• Have strong Teaching or software engineering experience .
• Enjoy teaching, mentoring, and working closely with students.
• Believe engineering education should be project-first rather than theory-first.
• Are passionate about improving the quality of engineering education in India.
• Bring innovative ideas to curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and engineering training.
• Possess excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Have an active GitHub profile or a portfolio demonstrating meaningful technical work.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software engineering, research, or teaching experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience.
• Experience building production software.
• Open-source contributions are highly valued.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Google Summer of Code (GSoC)
• Linux Foundation
• CNCF
• Apache Software Foundation
• MLH Fellowship
• Outreachy
• ICPC
• Research publications or significant technical projects
• Other well-recognized open-source communities

Freelancers, industry professionals, and experienced educators are all encouraged to apply.
