Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Delhi
Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: *3-4 years *
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Full Stack Developer at Volunteer Yatra, you’ll play a key role in shaping and scaling our platform. You’ll work closely with the Development Team to build end-to-end features that are robust, scalable, and delightful to use.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features using Next.js with a solid grasp of its core principles like routing, SSR, ISR, API routes, and middleware.
- Build and manage backend services using Express.js and integrate with Supabase for authentication, storage, and real-time features.
- Integrate Backend and Frontend altogether.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across the stack using TypeScript.
- Use Git for version control and collaboration across the development team.
- Take ownership of tasks and features while working collaboratively with the team.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product discussions.
Must-Have Skills
- Proficient in Next.js, with strong knowledge of its architecture and rendering strategies.
- Experience with Express.js for backend APIs and middleware handling.
- Practical understanding of Supabase and its services (Auth, Realtime, Storage).
- Good grasp of PostgreSQL and database design fundamentals.
- Solid experience with TypeScript in both frontend and backend environments.
- Git proficiency for version control and collaborative development.
- Prior internship experience in a tech role (startup experience is a big plus).
- Ability to work independently and take accountability while being a team player.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, especially deployment on AWS EC2.
- Writing Test cases for API’s using Jest or any other testing Framework
- Passion for social impact and community-driven projects.
