About the job
About Us
JewelFX is B2B fine jewellery infrastructure: CAD, rendering, manufacturing, and fulfilment for independent retail jewellers globally (UK, US, Australia, and beyond). We're a 20-person team based in Mumbai with manufacturing operations in SEEPZ.
We're launching At the Atelier, a ring configurator platform that gives retail jewellers a white-labelled tool to sell bespoke engagement rings with real-time diamond inventory, 3D customisation, and end-to-end manufacturing fulfilment. The product is built. The manufacturing is proven. What's missing is the commercial engine.
We're hiring our first commercial leader to own the entire go-to-market: from strategy through execution.
Why This Role Exists
Our Founder brings deep jewellery industry expertise, domain relationships, and product vision. What we don't have is someone who can take that domain knowledge and translate it into a structured, repeatable commercial machine: pricing architecture, trial mechanics, outreach systems, conversion funnels, and marketing that actually drives revenue.
This isn't a "marketing hire who also does some strategy." This is the person who defines HOW we go to market and then builds it with their own hands.
The Role
You own the full commercial function. You define the GTM strategy, build the systems, create the assets, and drive the metrics. The Founder provides jewellery industry context, ICP insights, and final approval on positioning. You provide everything else.
You'll work directly with:
Founder — domain expertise, product direction, key relationships
Tech Lead — product development, onboarding UX, platform capabilities
BD Associate — outbound outreach execution (you'll direct and enable them)
What You'll Own
- GTM Strategy
- Define pricing architecture (subscription, usage-based, freemium, hybrid) and recommend what fits our unit economics
- Design the trial model: who qualifies, what access, what duration, what triggers conversion to paid/manufacturing customer
- Build ICP segmentation and lead scoring (which retailers are A/B/C tier and why)
- Define the customer journey end-to-end: awareness → demo → trial → first order → retained manufacturing client
- Own positioning and messaging: how we talk about the product, how we differentiate, what we lead with
- Outreach & Demand Generation
- Architect outreach sequences (cold email, LinkedIn, retargeting, partnerships)
- Build and manage the sales pipeline: tooling, workflows, reporting
- Direct the BD Associate on targeting, messaging, cadence, and follow-up
- Identify and test channels: trade shows, communities, partnerships, content, paid
- Plan and execute trade show strategy (Olympia London, Sep 2026 is first milestone)
- Marketing Execution
- Build landing pages, product pages, and conversion flows
- Create sales collateral: pitch decks, one-pagers, demo scripts, case studies
- Design and run email campaigns and lifecycle communications
- Own the website as a conversion tool (not a brochure)
- Product-Commercial Integration
- Spec the self-serve onboarding flow with the tech lead (what data we collect, how stores get provisioned)
- Define what happens inside the product during a trial (notifications, nudges, limitations)
- Design order-flow communications: what the retailer sees at each stage
- Feed product feedback from prospects and customers back to the tech team
- Revenue Operations
- Build funnel reporting and track conversion at every stage
- Define and monitor commercial KPIs
- Own forecasting: pipeline, expected conversions, revenue trajectory
- Iterate on the entire system based on data, not vibes
What You Bring
Must-have:
- 6-10 years in B2B SaaS, with at least 2 years in a strategic GTM or Head of Growth role
- Has personally defined a pricing model or trial structure (not just inherited one)
- Built at least one go-to-market motion from pre-revenue or very early stage
- Hands-on: can write a cold email, build a landing page, set up a CRM workflow. Not just direct others to do it
- Strong commercial instinct: thinks in revenue and unit economics, not vanity metrics
- Experience with outbound-led or sales-assisted growth (not purely inbound/content)
- Comfortable being a one-person commercial team initially, with the understanding you'll build a team beneath you
Strong bonus:
Experience in vertical SaaS (any niche industry: construction, dental, F&B, doesn't have to be jewellery)
Has marketed or sold to SMB retail businesses (understands their buying psychology)
Familiarity with PLG mechanics layered on top of a services/manufacturing business
Trade show or event-led growth experience
International market experience (our customers are UK, US, Aus)
Not required:
Jewellery industry knowledge (the Founder provides this; you'll absorb context fast)
Large team management experience (this is a build role, not a manage role initially)
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days:
Deep immersion with the Founder on ICP, product, industry dynamics, and current pipeline
Audit current outreach, demo process, and follow-up systems
Deliver initial GTM strategy document: recommended pricing posture, trial model, and outreach architecture
Olympia London plan locked (collateral, pre-show outreach, on-ground strategy)
First 90 days:
Pricing and trial model live on the platform
Outreach sequences running with measurable conversion data
Self-serve onboarding flow specced and in development with tech lead
BD Associate fully enabled and operating from your playbook
Landing page and marketing site driving inbound interest
Funnel dashboard live with weekly reporting rhythm
First 6 months:
Repeatable, measurable commercial engine: strangers → demos → trials → manufacturing orders
At least 15-20 retailers actively trialling or onboarded
Clear unit economics validated (CAC, LTV, payback period)
First hire beneath you (likely a marketing executor) scoped and made
Olympia learnings applied; next 2 trade shows planned
Compensation
₹24-42L CTC depending on experience and track record. Equity/ESOP conversation on the table for the right person who wants to build long-term. This is a leadership role in a company that's early but profitable with real manufacturing revenue.
Why This Is Interesting
You're not optimising an existing engine. You're building one from zero in an industry that hasn't been touched by modern SaaS GTM thinking.
The product works. Manufacturing is proven. Customers exist (just not at scale). You're not selling vapourware.
You'll have direct access to the Founder daily. No layers, no politics, no six-month approval cycles.
The jewellery industry globally is $350B+ and deeply underserved by technology. The upside is real.
You'll own the outcome. If this works, you built it.
