Compensation

£8,000 – £10,000 GBP per year, paid in INR at the live exchange rate on payday, plus a company performance bonus.

Alongside our current focus, The Engine, a production intelligence platform for the film and television industry, we also own and operate another technology venture. We move quickly, work closely, and value execution, sound judgement, and commercial thinking.

The Role

We're hiring a Founder's Executive Assistant to work directly with the Founder in our Bangalore office, providing genuine day-to-day capacity across administration, coordination, projects, and recruitment.

This is a high-responsibility, high-autonomy role, not a junior support position. You'll be trusted to prioritise independently, make decisions, and take ownership of meaningful work from day one.

You'll work closely with the Founder on a daily basis and will occasionally receive work through our Senior Executive Assistant, who has extensive knowledge of the Founder's businesses, systems, and ways of working.

As Mechanon grows, this role is expected to grow alongside it. High performers will have opportunities to take ownership of increasingly strategic projects and broader operational responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support operational and strategic projects across Mechanon.
• Reduce operational friction so the Founder can focus on high-value work.
• Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, travel, and administrative support.
• Handle financial administration, including receipts, expenses, and overhead tracking.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and hiring logistics.
• Maintain organised systems, documentation, folders, and internal records.
• Establishing process and systems.
• Automations.
• Help ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Helpful, But Not Essential

• Previous Executive Assistant or Operations experience in a senior support role.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• A technology, engineering, or technical background.
• Confidence working with modern software, AI tools, and digital systems.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
