About the job

Who We Are

We deploy powerful AI agents in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building the systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely and reliably. Our belief is that people should be free of administrative and operational drudgery so they can create value through creativity, reasoning, and judgement.

We're starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses defined by heavy workflows across departments, such as admissions, financial aid, facilities, advising, student services, advancement, and more. Our agents are already embedded across these departments, interacting with millions of students and staff. They process applications, package aid, resolve verification issues, run large-scale communication workflows, handle student support tickets, and more.

We believe that universities are among the most consequential institutions in the world, sitting at the foundation of social and economic progress. Improving how they operate improves who gets educated, who gets supported, and who gets a chance. When higher education runs better, everything built on top of it does too.

About the Role

You'll sit at the intersection of Marketing, Growth strategy, and content — owning the plays and the narratives that drive revenue for CollegeVine. This role is equal parts analytical and creative: you'll design and run multi-channel campaigns, shape the content strategy that supports them, and own the messaging that makes those plays land. You'll work closely with Marketing and Sales — helping ensure the right stories reach the right people and that what you build actually converts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute multi-channel plays that drive top-of-funnel pipeline — outbound sequences, use-case campaigns, event follow-up, LinkedIn ads, and more
  • Develop, test, and iterate on plays and messaging for different higher ed personas and use cases — financial aid, advising, student services, and more
  • Own content marketing initiatives — blog posts, thought leadership pieces, case studies, webinar content, and social media narratives that position CollegeVine as a category leader in higher ed AI
  • Build and manage outreach and experimentation infrastructure using AI tools
  • Track performance across plays, campaigns, and content — synthesize what's working and bring data-backed recommendations to the team
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure plays convert, content supports the sales cycle, and feedback loops stay tight
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned to campaign themes, product launches, and seasonal higher ed cycles
  • Contribute to content that supports plays — short-form copy, email sequences, landing pages, one-pagers, and longer-form assets

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, content marketing, demand generation, or a GTM-focused role at a B2B startup
  • Proven track record of building and executing strategies that drive measurable pipeline — not just traffic
  • Strong executor that can move fast, follow through, and take ownership over outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with a love for testing and experimentation, letting data guide iteration
  • Solid marketing fundamentals: audience segmentation, positioning, and an instinct for what makes a message land
  • Excited to build with AI tools and eager to push what's possible with them
  • Self-directed and resourceful — doesn't need a perfect playbook to get started and thrives in ambiguity
  • Motivated by business outcomes, caring about pipeline and closed deals in addition to clicks and opens
  • Role is hybrid in New York City; remote considered for exceptional candidates

Location

Remote (Hybrid in New York preferred)

CollegeVine partners with 200+ universities, deploying agentic AI to power campus operations. We have raised venture funding from dedicated investors such as Menlo Ventures (Anthropic, Carta), Silversmith Capital Partners (Webflow, Formstack), Morningside Technology Ventures (Xiaomi, TikTok), and more. In 2020, after years of being a remote-friendly company, CollegeVine became a fully remote company (with a NYC office) with a diverse cast of team members based predominantly in the United States, but also around the world.
