About the job
Company: Medavida
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible, with regular availability during Eastern Time business hours
About Medavida
Medavida is building the payments-enabled operating system for modern cash-pay healthcare. Our platform connects credential verification, patient care, prescriptions, payments, suppliers, communication, and practice growth within one unified ecosystem.
We are a fast-moving healthcare technology and fintech startup preparing to bring multiple products to market. We are looking for a creative, highly organized Social Media & Marketing Contractor who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content and help build awareness around our company, products, partnerships, and mission.
The Role
The Social Media & Marketing Contractor will support Medavida’s day-to-day content development, social media presence, marketing campaigns, and product-launch communications.
This person should be comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment where priorities move quickly and strong execution matters. You will work directly with Medavida’s leadership team to turn company updates, product information, industry insights, and strategic initiatives into polished marketing content.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Medavida’s social media content calendar
- Create and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant channels
- Write engaging posts, captions, articles, email campaigns, landing-page copy, and product-launch communications
- Translate healthcare, fintech, payments, and software concepts into clear and approachable messaging
- Support go-to-market campaigns for Medavida’s products and services
- Create content promoting product features, company milestones, partnerships, events, and thought leadership
- Coordinate basic graphics, short-form videos, product screenshots, and branded marketing assets
- Repurpose long-form content into social posts, email content, video scripts, and sales materials
- Monitor engagement, audience growth, and campaign performance
- Recommend content topics and campaigns based on industry developments and audience interests
- Maintain consistency with Medavida’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging
- Assist with website content updates, newsletters, press announcements, and partner communications
- Work with leadership, product, sales, and design team members to gather the information needed to produce accurate content
- Maintain an organized library of content, creative assets, templates, and campaign materials
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in social media management, digital marketing, content marketing, or a related role
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to create professional content with minimal oversight
- Experience managing content calendars and multiple marketing priorities
- Understanding of LinkedIn and B2B social media strategy
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or similar design tools
- Experience with email marketing and content-management platforms
- Ability to review performance data and adjust content based on results
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Reliable availability for meetings and collaboration during agreed-upon Eastern Time hours
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with a startup or early-stage technology company
- Background in healthcare, healthtech, fintech, SaaS, payments, or digital health
- Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market campaigns
- Familiarity with HubSpot or another CRM and marketing-automation platform
- Basic video editing or short-form video production experience
- Experience developing executive thought-leadership content
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content and creative tools
What Success Looks Like
- Medavida maintains a consistent and professional presence across its primary marketing channels
- Product and company announcements are communicated clearly and on schedule
- Complex product concepts are converted into compelling, easy-to-understand content
- Social engagement, brand awareness, website traffic, and qualified interest grow over time
- Marketing projects are organized, completed on time, and aligned with company priorities
- Leadership can provide ideas and raw information that are quickly transformed into publishable content
Contractor Expectations
This is a remote independent contractor position. The contractor will be expected to manage their own schedule and deliverables while maintaining consistent communication, meeting agreed-upon deadlines, and attending scheduled meetings.
Because Medavida operates primarily on Eastern Time, candidates must be available for regular collaboration and scheduled meetings during agreed-upon Eastern Time business hours.

- Your résumé or LinkedIn profile
- A brief introduction describing your relevant experience
- Examples of social media accounts, campaigns, written content, or marketing materials you have created
