About the role
We're hiring an Software Engineer, with a focus on supporting our Customer Success department - creating customer facing tools and internal process automations to help create delightful customer experiences at scale. We're looking for a full stack engineer to own meaningful parts of our platform and build tools that our customers and team will use every day. The role will involve communicating with customers on a regular basis, to understand their pain points, support with their technical issues, and unblocking their onboarding processes.
This is a high-ownership role on a small team. You'll have a direct line to product decisions, you'll move fast with modern AI-assisted tooling, and you'll be trusted to make calls and follow through. If you like building, shipping, and watching users adopt what you made, you'll fit right in.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features end-to-end across the stack (frontend, backend, APIs, and data), from scoping through launch and iteration.
- Handle technical customer support inquiries, including troubleshooting phone software configurations and website domain setups.
- Translate user feedback and product goals into well-scoped technical work.
- Learn the ins and outs of our entire product stack and create documentation & AI knowledge base tools for our internal teams and customer base.
- Build and automate systems throughout our customer journey
- Use AI development tools and our software development lifecycle automations to ship faster and raise the bar on how the team works.
What we're looking for - READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING
- You've built and shipped real software in a full-time, team-based environment: 3+ years building and maintaining production web applications, or a strong track record of shipped projects that demonstrates equivalent ability. Don't apply if your coding experience is limited to vibe-coding, classroom work, basic development, or solo projects.
- Comfortable across the stack: a modern frontend framework (e.g. React, Next.js), a backend language and framework (e.g. Python, Django), and relational databases (e.g. Postgres).
- Fluent in English: you will be communicating in English to customers and team members every day, and we have a high bar for English fluency. Don't apply if your English is not
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.)
- Solid with Git-based workflows, code review, CI/CD, and shipping to production safely
- Familiar with cloud infrastructure and deploying and operating services in production
- You operate like an entrepreneur - you take ownership seriously, work hard and quickly, thrive with autonomy, care about the customer and the product, and want to understand how the business works.
- You have customer-facing experience - you have iterated directly on product features and bug fixes by communicating directly with (ideally US-based) customers
