About the job
About ForkMesh
We're building ForkMesh, a decentralized, AI-native developer platform that makes Git repositories portable, resilient, and always cloneable.
We're a small team preparing for our angel round and looking for an exceptional QA tester who wants to help build a reliable product from day one.
This isn't for someone chasing a paycheck. It's for someone who enjoys breaking software, finding bugs, and improving user experience.
You're right. Yours sounds more founder-to-founder, less like a polished HR template. I kept your tone, fixed the grammar, and made it easier to read without changing the vibe.
We're looking for someone who can test ForkMesh every single day and help us make the product better.
What you'll do
- Test the entire product after every update.
- Report bugs with proper steps so developers can reproduce them.
- Verify bug fixes and make sure nothing else breaks.
- Test new features before they're released.
- Help us improve the overall user experience by giving honest feedback.
- Share issues, edge cases, and anything that doesn't feel right.
Before joining, you'll need to go through a 7-day paid trial.
During the trial, you'll:
- Set up ForkMesh on your machine.
- Learn how the product works.
- Test it every day.
- Report issues clearly.
- Collaborate with the team.
Basically, we want to see if you're comfortable with the product and if we're comfortable working together.
We're preparing for our $1M angel round, and we want early people who genuinely believe in what we're building, not people who are here just for the money.
We're looking for crazy smart people who can hit the ground running from day one, know how to communicate well, pay attention to details, and don't need someone holding their hand for every task.
Your work proves who you are.
We don't really care about your resume.
Show us:
- Bug reports you've written
- Open-source contributions
- Projects you've tested or built
- GitHub profile
- Or simply the coolest thing you've ever worked on
If your work is impressive, we'll notice. Humans invented résumés because it's easier than judging actual ability. We'd rather skip that part.
