Location: This role is based onsite at our office in Louisville, CO.

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed receiving, in-process, and final inspections on PCBA, harnessing, and assemblies to IPC Class 3
- Review and verify supplier end item data packages including Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), as built BOMs, electrical test reports, and X-rays
- Identify and document non conformances, segregate suspect material, and initiate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs)
- Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability of materials according to AS9100 and customer requirements
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies prior to qualification and customer submission
- Support internal and external audits
- Work in manufacturing computer system to record inspections, move parts through inspection queues, and generate nonconformance report requests
- Implement and maintain a calibrated tool system and process
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, robotics, medical device, automotive, or equivalent)
- IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 board inspection certification required
- IPC-A-600 preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items over 40 lbs
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Capella Employees must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce, as applicable. Preferred Qualifications:
- Nice to have: experience with automated optical inspection & x-ray machines
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- ASQ certifications are a plus
- Prior experience with aerospace inspection processes and standards
Compensation
The approximate base salary range for this position is $78,725 - $95,060. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a range of benefits available on our career site.
