Growth Marketing Intern

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Intern who loves experimentation and wants hands-on ownership of real experiments, not just execution of an assigned marketing calendar.

You should have already run growth or performance experiments somewhere: an internship, startup work, a personal project, or a side hustle. In this role you will own experiments across the customer journey, covering awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals. You will work closely with the founders, product, design, and engineering teams to find growth opportunities we can repeat at scale.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and run small growth experiments (landing page variants, ad copy tests, referral incentives), and document what worked and what didn't.
• Research and shortlist new acquisition channels, competitor campaigns, and trends worth testing.
• Build and QA landing pages and simple funnels using our existing tools and templates, with Product and Design.
• Pull and organise campaign data from Meta Ads and Google Ads, and flag underperforming ads or audiences.
• Draft briefs for new campaigns (target audience, messaging angle, channel) for review by the growth lead.
• Draft and schedule lifecycle messages (onboarding emails, WhatsApp nudges, notification copy) for review before send.
• Track referral and engagement program numbers, and identify what is driving or blocking sign-ups.
• Keep growth dashboards current, and flag drop-off points in the user funnel.
• Run basic SEO tasks: keyword research, content gap spotting, and on-page checks.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) to move faster on ad copy, creative variants, and campaign research.
• Build and maintain simple automation workflows (Zapier, Make) for repetitive marketing tasks.
• Take notes and follow up on action items from growth and product syncs.
• Put together a short weekly recap of experiments run, results, and what's next.

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

• Prior experience in growth or performance marketing, from any of the settings above.
• Hands-on exposure to Meta Ads or Google Ads.
• Working understanding of customer acquisition funnels.
• Comfort with data and analytics.
• A real experimentation habit: you form a hypothesis before you spend, and you write down the result afterwards.
• Clear written communication.
• Ownership of your work and the ability to pick up an unfamiliar tool without waiting to be shown.
• Interest in working in a startup or high-growth environment.

Good to Have:

• Interest or experience in consumer tech, healthtech, wellness, or D2C.
• Familiarity with Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, or similar analytics tools.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and content growth.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, MoEngage, CleverTap, or WebEngage.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney) to improve marketing productivity.
• Basic SQL.
