LaTeX Expert - Tutorial Video Creator

We are looking for a highly efficient LaTeX expert who can do more than just “know LaTeX”. You should be fast, sharp, detail-oriented, and comfortable creating polished tutorial content that helps researchers, students, and professionals use LaTeX better.

At TheLaTeXLab, we build tools and content around LaTeX, citations, academic writing, and document workflows. This role is ideal for someone who can turn advanced LaTeX knowledge into clear screen-recording tutorials that people actually find useful.

What you will do

• Create screen recording tutorial videos for LaTeX topics
• Explain LaTeX concepts clearly, step by step, in a way that is easy to follow
• Produce practical, high-quality tutorials for academic and technical users
• Format papers and documents in LaTeX with speed and accuracy
• Collaborate on content ideas that can be turned into tutorials, demos, and educational resources
• Improve the visual quality of tutorial videos with basic editing

What we are looking for

• Strong LaTeX expertise with high efficiency and speed
• Experience formatting academic papers in LaTeX
• At least 5 published papers formatted in LaTeX
• Ability to create clear screen recording tutorials
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical steps simply
• Video editing skills are a plus

Nice to have

• Experience creating educational content, tutorials, or walkthrough videos
• Familiarity with academic publishing workflows
• Comfort working independently and delivering polished output
