Robotics Engineer

About the Role

We are building a new robotics vertical from the ground up. This is a founding role for someone who enjoys creating, experimenting, and solving problems rather than joining an established engineering team.

You'll work directly with the founder to explore product ideas, evaluate technologies, build prototypes, and help define the long-term robotics roadmap.

This role is ideal for someone who is excited by ambiguity and wants to build something from zero.

*Responsibilities:- *

• Research robotics technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
• Design and build proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
• Evaluate hardware, sensors, actuators, controllers, and embedded systems.
• Integrate AI models with robotic systems.
• Work on computer vision, perception, navigation, or manipulation depending on product direction.
• Recommend technology stack, architecture, and development processes.
• Build relationships with hardware vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Help define the company's robotics strategy and future engineering team.

*Requirements:- *

• 3+ years of experience in the robotics industry.
• Experience building real robotic systems from concept to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of ROS/ROS2, C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with embedded systems, sensors, motor control, and robotics hardware.
• Familiarity with computer vision and AI integration is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal structure.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to experiment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with humanoid, mobile, industrial, or service robots.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, or similar platforms.
• Experience taking robotics products from prototype to production.
• Startup or founding team experience.
