Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern who is eager to learn how technology solutions are designed and delivered in a real-world IT services and product engineering environment.

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, support documentation, and contribute to the early stages of solution development.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious about technology, business problem-solving, and product development and wants to build a career in Business Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis & Documentation

• Assist Business Analysts in gathering and analysing business and functional requirements.
• Help convert business requirements into clear and structured documentation.
• Assist in preparing:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
  • User Stories
  • Acceptance Criteria
  • Use Cases
  • Process Flows
• Maintain and update project documentation as requirements evolve.

2. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

• Participate in client and internal requirement discussions and meetings.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to clarify functional requirements when required.
• Document meeting discussions, action items, decisions, and follow-ups.

3. Research & Solution Support

• Conduct research on technologies, products, competitors, and industry trends to support solution discussions.
• Assist in analysing business problems and identifying potential solution approaches.
• Support the team in preparing presentations, solution documents, and project-related materials.
• Develop an understanding of how business requirements are translated into technology solutions.

4. AI & Emerging Technologies

• Gain exposure to projects involving Generative AI, AI/ML, Computer Vision, and other emerging technologies.
• Research and understand basic concepts and potential business applications of emerging technologies.
• Support Business Analysts in documenting AI-powered workflows and use cases.

5. Process & Quality Support

• Help maintain consistency and quality across BA documentation and templates.
• Assist in tracking requirements and ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Support the team in identifying gaps, dependencies, and open questions in project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology and software product development.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise information and present it in a clear and structured manner.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or web/mobile applications.
• Interest in Generative AI, LLMs, AI/ML, or Computer Vision.
• Any academic or personal projects involving technology or software products.
