About the job
*About Sanctory *
At Sanctory, we are on a continuous quest to source the finest products from every corner of the world. Our mission is to provide these products to our patrons in their purest, natural, and most authentic form. Our partners in this journey—winemakers, farmers, and artisans—craft their products with the highest skills and traditions, fearlessly expressing their craft without bowing to market demands. Sanctory is a space for this beautiful interaction between our like-minded customers and these dedicated producers.
*Position Overview *
Sanctory is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, content creation, and building genuine communities online. As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and brand teams to bring Sanctory's world—our farmers, our craft, our products—to life across social platforms. Your role will involve turning the stories behind each harvest, each process, and each producer into content that connects with our audience. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand storytelling, content strategy, and community building for a company rooted in heritage and authenticity.
*Key Responsibilities: *
- Planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
- Translate Sanctory's brand ethos and product stories—from farm to table—into engaging captions, reels, and posts.
- Support the creation of content calendars aligned with campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to develop visual and written content that feels authentic to the brand.
- Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and audience engagement to inform content decisions.
- Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) to identify what resonates with our community.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and building genuine relationships with followers.
- Research and identify potential collaborations, influencers, or storytelling partners aligned with Sanctory's values.
*What We're Looking For *
- A background or strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, communications, or storytelling.
- A natural storyteller with the ability to turn process, craft, and heritage into compelling, relatable content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content formats (reels, carousels, short-form video), and scheduling tools.
- Basic understanding of content design tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Photoshop, or similar (not mandatory, but a plus).
- Strong writing skills with an eye for tone, voice, and audience.
- Good understanding of current social media trends and what drives engagement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail.
- A portfolio or examples of past content (personal, academic, or professional) demonstrating storytelling and creativity.
