About iClinic
iClinic is a Houston-based AI healthcare startup founded by a practicing interventional cardiologist. We build production-grade clinical voice agents that reduce administrative burden for clinics, doctors, and patients. We are already live in medical clinics, and we are now growing our client base.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a driven, organized, and personable Business Development & Operations Intern to help us reach more clinics and keep the business running smoothly. You'll work directly with the founder and the team, own outreach and follow-ups end to end, and help build the sales and operations engine of an early-stage startup from the ground up. This suits someone who is proactive, coachable, and thrives on ownership and real responsibility.
What You'll Do
Business Development:
- Research and build target lists of US cardiology and specialty clinics
- Run outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) and book product demos
- Manage the CRM and keep the pipeline clean and up to date
- Coordinate and follow up on demos, trials, and new-clinic onboarding
- Help create and refine sales collateral (decks, one-pagers, email sequences)
- Do market and competitor research to sharpen our positioning
Operations and Admin:
- Own scheduling, meeting coordination, notes, and action tracking
- Maintain trackers, documentation, and weekly reporting
- Support client onboarding and light customer success check-ins
- Set up and run outreach and workflow automations using AI tools
- Handle general admin so the team stays unblocked as we scale
Requirements - Must-have:
- Excellent written and spoken English (you'll talk to US-based clinics)
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Comfort with outreach and talking to people; not afraid to follow up
- Self-driven and reliable, able to own tasks without hand-holding
- Expected to use AI tools to complete most routine tasks efficiently
Nice-to-have:
- Prior sales, business development, or operations internship experience (this role may also suit final-year MBA students, though an MBA is not required)
- Interest in healthcare, healthtech, or SaaS
- Familiarity with CRM and outreach tools (HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn, or similar)
- Comfort with automation tools (n8n, Zapier, or similar)
- Prior startup experience
Work Expectations
You'll have some overlap with US business hours for client calls and coordination, but we do not expect you working through the night, no later than 1 am IST. It is not a strict 9-to-5, and occasional weekend availability (an hour or two) may be needed. We move fast and value ownership over clock-watching.
Path & Growth
Start with a 2-week paid trial. Strong interns can grow into a longer-term role with more ownership over sales and operations as the company scales.
Why Join iClinic?
Direct founder access. High ownership. Real healthcare impact. Ground-floor upside at a live, revenue-generating startup.
