About Timbre

Timbre is building an AI-powered video editing platform for creators. Our tools help creators produce better content faster with features like AI shorts generation, automatic captions, B-roll generation, eye contact correction, transcripts, translation, and more.
With over 5 million downloads, Timbre is used by creators around the world across web and mobile. As a design intern, you'll work on a live product used by real users—not mock projects or internal exercises.

What You'll Do

• Design social media creatives, YouTube thumbnails, and marketing assets for creator-facing channels.
• Design UI screens and user flows for the web and mobile applications.
• Build and maintain Timbre's design system, including components, typography, colors, and spacing.
• Create landing page sections, onboarding experiences, feature illustrations, and product marketing visuals.
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and product priorities in a fast-moving startup environment.

What We're Looking For

• 3rd or 4th year student, or a recent graduate.
• Strong working knowledge of Figma.
• Able to design both product interfaces and marketing creatives with equal attention to detail.
• Has shipped at least one real project (website, app, brand, freelance work, or personal project).
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Can commit to full-time working hours for the duration of the internship.
