Overview
SwiffyLabs is hiring an SDET Lead to own end-to-end quality architecture for our cloud-native B2B fintech platform. You will build scalable test frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright, translate complex lending/payment workflows into automated suites, and act as the final sign-off authority for production releases.

The Role
As an SDET 3 / Lead SDET, you will be the quality architect and strategy driver for our core B2B SaaS platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role designed for someone who pairs deep hands-on expertise in TypeScript and Playwright with a sharp business mind.
You won't just write automation scripts—you will architect resilient quality frameworks, influence product design, mentor junior/mid-level SDETs, and ensure our multi-tenant fintech engine executes complex financial workflows flawlessly. You will own the quality narrative across the entire SDLC and serve as the final gatekeeper for production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Architecture: Design and maintain E2E UI and API automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright.
• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated test suites into deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI) for continuous testing.
• Business Logic Testing: Validate complex SaaS/fintech workflows including multi-tenant isolation, RBAC, lending calculations, and ledger balances.
• Quality Governance: Own release sign-offs, production readiness assessments, and root-cause analysis (RCA) for live defects.
• Technical Leadership: Conduct code reviews, establish testing standards, and mentor SDET 1 & 2 engineers.

Requirements

• Core Stack: 3+ years of expert-level experience building frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience: 6+ years in software testing/engineering within fast-paced B2B SaaS or product startups.
• API & Data: Hands-on REST API testing experience + strong SQL skills for database state validation.
• DevOps Basics: Solid command of Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Domain Acumen: Ability to dissect complex business requirements and spot logic edge-cases early in the design cycle.

Nice-to-Haves

• Fintech Domain: Prior experience in lending or payments systems.
• Performance: Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Architecture: Experience testing complex systems with multi-tenant architecture.
• Compliance: Exposure to audit and regulatory requirements in financial applications.
