The Key Account Manager will have a strong science background, a creative approach to business development, and the ability to work closely with customers and sales teams. The Technical Account Manager will play a key role in developing new business pipelines while providing technical support to the business and generating growth.

Essential Job Duties
- Working with an established customer base to maintain and grow sales
- Developing new customers and opportunities in the nutraceutical market
- Developing a robust new business pipeline to drive territory growth
- Daily sales responsibilities include customer collaboration, pipeline progression, and forecasting with emphasis on meeting both supplier and customer needs
- Close collaboration with suppliers to provide technical support for new and existing customers
- Submittal of call reports, open project reports, quarterly supplier reports and all other related sales reports
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines or Business Administration, Management.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a Technical Account Manager role, or similar. Previous experience in a B2B environment, a plus!
- Proven experience managing technical accounts within the chemical/ingredients industry (nutraceutical ingredients experience preferred), with a deep understanding of product formulations, regulatory standards, and client relationship management.
- Product management experience including market analysis, product planning, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management skills, required.
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication skills required. Must have the capability to translate technical jargon into clear and understandable language for non-technical stakeholders and team members.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with a proven ability to develop team members and foster a supportive work environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong adaptability, creativity, and drive to succeed.
- Strong team player; motivated and extremely customer centric

Location & Commitments

- This is a hybrid role in our Bellevue, WA or Rosemont, IL offices; occasional travel
- Work Schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day work from home
