Java Guidewire Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Guidewire Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire applications and Java development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and supporting Guidewire solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. Experience with Homeowners Insurance and Guidewire InsuranceNow (INOW) is a significant advantage.

HO3, Tired Rating, API integration with Lexi’s Nexis, akur8, e2value, Ivans , home insurance ,renters etc
13+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE.
5+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.
Strong knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, or InsuranceSuite.
Experience with Guidewire Gosu programming, Guidewire APIs, and configuration.
Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Homeowners Insurance domain experience (Highly Preferred).
Guidewire InsuranceNow (INOW) experience (Huge Plus).
Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
Knowledge of Guidewire Digital Portal and Integration Gateway.
Experience integrating Guidewire with third-party systems.
Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance Guidewire applications using Java and Gosu.
Configure and customize Guidewire modules based on business requirements.
Develop REST/SOAP integrations with internal and external systems.
Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
Participate in application design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
Optimize application performance and improve system reliability.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
Maintain technical documentation and follow coding best practices.
