About the Role

UCO Aero is seeking a punctual, curious, and dependable Technical Content and Operations Intern to support our editorial, marketing, and administrative activities.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for final-year students and fresh graduates from Journalism, English Literature, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines who possess strong research and writing abilities.

We are not looking for highly experienced candidates. We welcome applicants who are willing to learn, accept feedback, work consistently, and develop their skills within a structured professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write approximately three original articles per week on topics related to aerospace, aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, advanced technology, careers, education, and relevant industry developments.
• Use credible and verifiable sources, including official organisations, academic publications, industry reports, universities, and recognised news outlets.
• Ensure that articles are accurate, clearly written, properly structured, and free from plagiarism or unsupported claims.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with keyword research, content formatting, metadata, internal linking, and other SEO optimisation activities.
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, tone, factual accuracy, and consistency.
• Upload, organise, and update content using UCO Aero’s internal content-management systems.
• Perform basic data-entry and record-maintenance tasks.
• Assist with article databases, opportunity listings, contact records, research documents, and administrative files.
• Support routine coordination, documentation, content scheduling, and other operational requirements.
• Complete assigned work within agreed deadlines and participate in regular reviews and training sessions.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should:

• Be pursuing their final year of study or have recently graduated.
• Preferably hold or be pursuing a degree in Journalism, English Literature, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related subject.
• Demonstrate strong written English and the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Have an interest in aerospace, engineering, education, technology, research, or professional content creation.
• Be capable of conducting genuine research and evaluating the credibility of sources.
• Be comfortable learning basic SEO, content-management, and administrative processes.
• Possess good attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Be punctual, organised, receptive to feedback, and willing to learn.
• Be available to work from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Be able to consistently complete assigned editorial and administrative responsibilities.

Previous professional experience is not required. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, communication ability, reliability, and willingness to improve.

Compensation and Progression

The selected candidate will receive:

• ₹15,000 per month during the first month of training.
• ₹15,000 per month during the second month of probation.
• ₹30,000 per month after successfully completing the two-month training and probation period, subject to performance, reliability, content quality, and continued appointment.

Performance will be assessed based on research quality, writing ability, punctuality, accuracy, productivity, responsiveness to feedback, and completion of administrative responsibilities.
